Dr. Ekaette Udoh, holding a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Uyo, Nigeria, has dedicated over a decade to enhancing her expertise in teaching and researching quantitative methods in Agricultural Economics, alongside Statistics and Econometrics. Her research interests predominantly focus on food, nutrition, and health economics. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at Akwa Ibom State University, Dr. Udoh has been involved in teaching and assessing both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Agricultural Economics.
Following her PhD, she notably revised and tailored a poverty measure for application in various aspects of food and nutrition security, including food safety and dietary diversity.
As a member of the International Institute of Business Analysis, the International Food and Agribusiness Management Association (IFAMA), and the International Association of Agricultural Economists, she is recognized for her contributions to the field. Dr. Udoh is esteemed for her skills in data analysis, research, and writing, and is known for her commitment to mentoring young individuals, significantly impacting their development and success in the field of agricultural economics.
