Prof. Victor Dugga is a professor of Theatre and Social Change since 2008. He obtained his PhD from University of Bayreuth, Germany in 2001, and postgraduate diploma in monitoring and evaluation, University of Stellenbosch, South Africa in 2008.
He is a pioneer of educational advancement practice in Nigeria and served as Executive Director of Advancement at the University of Jos between 2004 and 2012. He has vast experience in institutional and organizational strategic planning spanning over twenty years. In this process, Prof has facilitated training for the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE, UK). He won the Association of Nigerian Authors’ Prize for Drama in 2009 for his play, Hope Harvesters.
He has published several works, participated in many international collaborations and supported several community services. He is currently the Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies, Federal University Lafia, Nigeria. He loves watching sports, playing golf and tennis, fish farming and gardening. His life’s objective is to serve humanity with dignity and integrity, empowering the less privileged to realize their optimum potential.
